I stick my head out the window to see what's going on, and it's raining gigantic hailstones (not the neighbours after all).

This may be a normal sized hailstone in many parts of the world, but it's by far the biggest on I have seen in Auckland. Measuring over 1cm in diameter, and certainly large enough to keep your bourbon cold, there were probably plenty larger than the one I grabbed. Luckily these sized hailstones didn't last that long. << A day of blog silence?
