Lulu's website launched
This server is getting tired of hosting nothing but baby photos, so we
thought it prudent to set Louisa up with her own website.
We will be posting all baby related news and photos on this new site,
so if interested, please bookmark and keep checking in.
The address is (creatively enough) www.louisakane.com
Nothing for Fathers day
I can't say I'm entirely surprised, as it's a bit of a tradition in
our family. Nothing for Father's day. I would have thought little
Louisa cared about her daddy, however this doesn't appear to be the
case.
10 days in, all ok
Louisa is home, well and has passe the hearing test. Parents wondering
when the next full nights sleep is going to happen.
Welcoming Louisa Kane
Louisa Kane (aka Lulu) born today at Waitakere Hospital. The ends a
gargantuan 48 hours of labour, and we are glad it's all over.
Our little girl was born around 2:20 this afternoon (19th July 2005)
and is (as far as we can tell) healthy. Weight 3.5kg (about average
for blokes who don't care)....
Hard Labour
It's late, so this will be brief. We went into hospital around 2pm
yesterday, and it's been hard work since. Still no baby, and according
to the experts still not even close. Kirstin has been in labour for 36
hours now, so it's been hard.
I'm at home getting a couple of hours sleep, fingers...
More baby scans, no baby
These images are from the ultrasound taken last tuesday (5th July).
They aren't as clear as the previous pics, but at least baby doesn't
look like a skeleton anymore.
Baby = this week
Well, can't be too much longer to go now. Due date is on the 6th July,
and if it doesn't show up by then it looks like baby might be induced.
Personally, I think it's going to come on July 4th just to spite me
(America pisses me off, so having a kid born on independence day would
tear my nighty)....

First Baby Photos
We have a baby due in July 2005, and had our first scan in
february. The images it produced are actually pretty cool.
We are keeping the sex of the baby a surprise, I think that's kinda
cool, although Kirstin would love to know what it is so she can go
nuts shopping for blue or pink.
